I just wanted to send my thoughts on my experience with Sherwoods (Northallerton) and the service provided by Neville Blenkinsop (and the other member of staff who's name I didn't get). Neville provided an exemplary level of customer service I didn't expect, let alone thought would be given by most businesses. I turned up at 8:30am on a rainy Monday as a new customer with a rather difficult problem with little hope of a fix. Yet, from the start, to final resolution, the professional service give by Neville was beyond any expectation, the speed of resolution provided a much needed fix to a very stressful situation (explaining to 5 year old that half term trips had to be cancelled because the car is broken is not easy).
I can only give my sincere thanks again for sorting a very strange problem that had a very negative impact on my family. My young son Wilson also wants to send his thanks to the kind man at Sherwoods who fixed our car.

I wanted to send an email-letter to express my appreciation of Sherwoods of Stockton.
I bought my Vauxhall Corsa car brand new in December 2009 from the above branch. I had looked at several other car showrooms in Middlesbrough and Stockton before going to Sherwoods. As soon as I entered Sherwoods in Stockton premises I knew that I wanted to buy a car from there. This was due to the friendly, welcoming atmosphere I was given as soon as I came through the door from your superb staff.
May I also express my appreciation on the excellent aftercare I have received from Sherwoods in Stockton after purchasing the car in 2009 from the marvellous Sherwoods Service Centre. I would like to single out for praise a member of your team - Mike Farrell - he organised for me in 2012 to be a Sherwoods Service Plan Member. He clearly and patiently explained to me all the many benefits of being on this plan which I have had for the last 3 years. Indeed today I have signed up for another 3 years to be on the plan and again it was Mike Farrell who organised it for me. You must be really pleased to have such a professional, friendly and competent person as him on your team.
I would just like to mention also Steve and Rob in your bodyshop who did such a good job when someone damaged my car in a car park a couple of years ago - when it had been repaired in your bodyshop it was just like the car coming out of the showroom.

It was a pleasure today to meet Aftersales Manager Craig Sellars who I talked to after my car had had its yearly service and MOT at the service centre. I'd suggest Sherwoods Stockton to a friend because they don't ring me up with a list of recommendations that don't actually need doing, I service the van every 6 months and went for a service at the Winchester dealer 18 months ago with the car 18 months old. They told me amongst £600 of work that I needed the aircon recharging, 18 months later its still perfect. I have confidence in their work and honesty, that's why I travel 285 miles to use them.

This is the third vehicle we have bought from Sherwoods Darlington and always receive an excellent service. I have no doubt that our next vehicle will also come from there.
It was my car's first service and extension of Lifetime Warranty. Car taken in at 9.15am and I explained I could not collect until I finished work at 6pm. No problem even though they closed at 6pm. Keys were left at main reception, where a meeting was in progress, despite this I was treated very well, the girl gave me the keys, no problems. I was very satisfied with every aspect of my visit to Sherwoods.
I purchased my vehicle last year form Sherwoods Darlington - this is the second vehicle I have purchased from them. I have always found the service provided excellent. The same applies for the recent service I had carried out on my corsa.

I purchased a car which I received on 17th January, unfortunatelythe brakes were not to a satisfactory standard.
I telephoned your branch and spoke to Peter who handled my call with care and concern and booked my car in for the next day. Upon returning my car my 'case' was then taken over by Craig in aftersales. Craig actually listened to my comments and spent time with me and the car to determine the exact fault. Craig then went the extra mile to ensure that the car was examined and the problem 'fixed'. I took receipt of my car again yesterday hopefully all will be well.
Both Craig and Peter should be commended for their customer service and caring attitudes.

We would just like to express our thanks. Many people are quick to criticise and slow to praise. We recently purchased a Zafira from Stockton. Ian was our initial salesman and helped select a car fit for our purpose. We have since dealt with 3 or 4 salesmen, whom all have been exceptional and restored my faith in dealerships again!
There was no pressure, just good advice and the usual negotiations. On picking up the car it had a fault; it was instantly dealt with in a manner that did not take the shine off things.

I recently purchased a Vauxhall Zafira from Sherwoods in Stockton on Tees. I actually live in Bingley in West Yorkshire and Sherwoods was recommended to me from a friend of my parents who lives in Stockton.
As the dealership is nearly a 2 hour drive from my house I was incredibly impressed that Antony, the sales representative I dealt with, was able to process the majority of the sale over the phone. Antony provided exceptionally good customer service and made the whole process as simple as possible negating the need for me to have to drive to Stockton until the car was ready for collection. On the day of collection everything went very smoothly and I was made to feel very welcome by everyone at Sherwoods.

When I ordered my car, I was told by Tom Curran (Motability specialist) that it was made in Korea and it would be 3 months delivery, this included a six week sea voyage. Tom kept me informed of progress every step of the way as to expected date of arrival in England and date of delivery to me. I have to say that this is the third Vauxhall I have had and this is due to the fact of the excellent service that Nichola Thompson and all the staff of Sherwoods of Darlington have given me.
Nichola showed me around car. Every button and switch, how to work everything in the car. Carpets were fitted what I asked for Nichola could not have done anymore for me. Put her self out to please and I am very pleased with what was done for me.

We cannot praise them enough especially Nichola Thompson, from the first contact to the hand over of our new car, just over a month ago, she was brilliant. She went out of her way to secure a demonstrator because they did not have the particular model in stock that we wanted to test drive. She kept us up to date on the progress of delivery (there was a delay because of Easter and the fact that our model was so popular). The whole atmosphere was one of "family", relaxed and very friendly. We were introduced to other members of staff Carol Cottingham, Customer Care, and Simon MacConachie, Dealer Principle who all made us feel very welcome. If we could mark them out of ten in all aspects of the way we were dealt with it would have to be a ten plus. We would recommend anyone to Sherwoods particularly Nichola.
